This year, runners will once again be energized for the 5 km and 10 km starts with a musical performance! At the 2024 race, encouragement at the start will come in the form of a song performed by Emīlija Kate Tomsone. Emīlija K. Tomsone is a girl with a guitar—a girl with a heart that sings. A romantic musician with a calm yet deep, powerful, and moving vocal tone. She creates a story with every note she sings—alive, breathing, and unique, breaking free from standard frameworks.

The "Around Cēsis" run is not only an event to test your individual abilities but also an opportunity to form a team and compete in the team ranking! It’s all very simple—register your team (2 men + 1 woman) and compete for the traveling team trophy and commemorative copies to take home! But that’s not all!
